The world in which we live (our Reality Bubble) is largely influenced by our thoughts. And, of course, negative thoughts are limiting and usually cause us to feel bad. If we use positive thinking as a general strategy, yes we can feel better and achieve more.

Now, ask yourself, “Who am I?” What is the answer to that question…? The beliefs you have about your identity, and the labels applied to your “self,” greatly influence your attitude. Be sure to have empowering thoughts associated with your self-image.

In my book Free Mind Free Body I discuss limiting self labels and how they can be changed to have more personal freedom. The benefits of thinking positive are understood; but, how you think of your “self” is extremely important. It’s best to think optimistically about your capabilities while realizing you have great potential. This better prepares you for taking new action to accomplish a lot more.

It may not be that easy to have favorable thoughts all of the time. The key is to be mindful of your thinking patterns: listen inside once in a while to make sure your outlook is good. For example, if today you think of yourself as a champion, and then tomorrow you simply believe you can’t achieve anything new — that’s when you stop and fix the negative thinking! Be consistent with your thoughts and give yourself a good chance. You may not have achieved all of your goals right now, but tomorrow is on the way — be persistent.

Every morning, from now on, remember to tell yourself something nice and inspiring before you begin each day — start your automatic positive thinking!

Be quiet. Please…. Sometimes we just want to turn off our inner voice, right? Especially when resting and unwinding from a busy day; or when you want to release your creativity and talents. Silencing your mind promotes relaxation and clear focus.

A still mind is an adept, resourceful mind. The two-way communication bridge between the conscious and unconscious opens up and knowledge flows best when you’re quiet inside. This results in maximum focus and creativity for the highest performance of a given task, skill, or talent.

However, throughout our day we could be saying negative things to ourself; or the inner voice, often called the “conscience,” may interrupt us when we do something that violates our values or beliefs. These disruptions can create bad feelings, cause hesitation and unnecessary distractions. Saying positive things and acting in accordance with your conscience can help keep the mind quiet when it’s time to settle down.

Peace of mind is within reach. Quieting your internal dialogue is a learned ability that is beneficial to your health and well-being. In Free Mind Free Body readers are shown how to quiet their minds to further develop their silent abilities.

Not the voice you hear while reading; but, the voice in your head that may tell you what to do and not to do, the voice you use to guide your decisions — can sometimes go unheard. As being open-minded and hearing what others have to say helps us develop knowledge and better perspective for improved relations — the same goes for listening to our “inner” voice!

At times we may be too distracted or tense and forget to give our inner voice the attention it deserves. As with any failure to communicate effectively, a contradiction can occur. And, a conflict within is one we ought to strive to avoid.

Now, listen in a little more and hear from yourself… and be comfortable acting in accordance with your values and sound judgement. Your inner voice is a resource that may remind you of important things, and it’s a powerful instrument you can further develop.

In your own way, you can easily discover things about yourself that may have been overlooked. I dedicated a chapter to internal dialogue in my book, Free Mind Free Body, to illustrate the many ways in which your voice can empower you. What’s your inner voice going to say right when you act after here?

Your unconscious mind is always present helping you live life to the fullest. It’s behind the scenes controlling and coordinating everything for you, as it runs your mind’s software. When you begin to learn something new, say a dance move or a karate technique, you will be consciously aware of the many chunks of new knowledge and skill you’re acquiring (you may feel clumsy at first while practicing).

These learnings are stored in your mind’s library and upgraded at the level of your knowledge and training. Afterward, when the need arises for a skill or behavior, your mind retrieves that program and you perform the task unconsciously: dancing gracefully and defending yourself with a karate move. Quality instruction and better techniques provide for the best performance.

Did you ever stop and wonder where your behaviors come from? How are they stored and activated? Who’s doing the programming… it’s supposed to be you! Does a bad habit simply arise from an unconscious trigger? Can you get involved and interrupt one of your programs to change and improve how you feel about something? Can you get better results from your actions? Yes! Reading Free Mind Free Body shows you how to access your unconscious to tune up your mind — and live life on a different note!

Since most of us are familiar with computers and basic programs, I will use the “mental software” analogy to talk a bit about how your mind works.

In my inspirational book, Free Mind Free Body, readers explore the inner workings of their minds with an easy-to-understand progressive approach. Our minds “actually” work in ways (neurologically, unconsciously, etc.) that we may never be able to precisely decipher. However, there is much hope! For your ever-elusive unconscious mind, and its mental processes out of awareness, will provide you with rewarding discoveries from now on.

Your unconscious mind has immense capability with the exclusive power to automatically run your life in a positive manner. Your mind processes many things simultaneously using countless concepts and abstractions to create perception. It also computes, stores and retrieves information while passing lightning-fast judgements – most of this is done without your realizing exactly what’s going on in there.

For example, we do not breathe consciously while we are asleep, do we? It just happens, thankfully! Nor do we think about how to move our muscles when awake. We just move our arms or legs and they move… the neuromuscular requisites for movement are automatically executed for us in support of our intentions. How many of your behaviors do you think through consciously? Many of them begin automatically from a program in your mind’s software library — updating YOUR programs is also important!

Your “reality bubble” is an important concept illustrated in my book. Yes, our reality is like a bubble. It’s “our” reality, and it’s “real” to us. This personal reality envelops us like a bubble in which we continuously live. All of our perceptions are constantly filtered by it. What you perceive as the “world” may only be “your” world. And, of course, your worldview is unique to you and may be different from another’s outlook. Understanding how to expand on the numerous nuances of this concept significantly supports one’s personal development.

Sometimes the challenge with our reality bubble is that it may be keeping good ideas away from us; consequently hindering problem solving and successful behaviors while keeping happiness out of reach. That internal conflict and unawareness stifles one’s growth. And, our respective reality bubbles often cause disputes with differing opinions amongst people. You may be quarreling with someone simply because both of you do not realize the fact that you’re perceiving the issue from two different perspectives… from your unconscious minds.

The power of the reality bubble goes on and on… slowing yourself down enough to just take a deep breath once in a while and recognize from now on there are other ways of looking at things. Doing this will help you come out of your bubble long enough to take a glimpse at another world. Listen for the cues while being quiet inside your mind. There are interesting things you can find here!

As you get better at resolving conflicts, you will become more magnetic and radiant. And you will be better equipped for inner-action — paving the way for your success!

Do you know who YOU are? Hmmm… it’s true that most of what makes up your “self” remains out of conscious awareness, as in how your unconscious mind creates your world for you and life as you know it.

Your mind stores your memories, values, beliefs, likes and dislikes, while it is also working diligently to keep your heart beating, lungs breathing, etc. These things are being taken care of automatically for you so that you don’t have to be concerned about them. Instead, you can do more important things like living life to the fullest!

How much inner exploration have you done lately? Okay, you can easily state your name, age, bodyweight, color of your hair and eyes. You are also probably familiar with most of your likes and dislikes — I hate apples, but love pineapples… What happens when you dig a little deeper…? What’s really going on in there, in your unconscious mind? You know… that place.

When reading my book, Free Mind Free Body, you will discover and understand more about yourself and increase your ability to create the life you truly want. Unfortunately, many people live their lives without having the chance to learn enough about how their minds work to create the life they really want. We sometimes lose sight of our deeper needs and often have little understanding of why we act the way we do. Not surprisingly, this lack of self-understanding causes a lack of self-confidence that pushes happiness further from our grasp.

“What good will it do me if I learn more about my inner world? I’ve made it this far…” The benefits of knowing more about your self are demonstrated and discussed in detail in my book, which has successfully guided many through self-discovery. It may guide you too – go ahead and have a meeting of the minds. Introduce your “self.”

As we are “only” human, we all run into these walls at one time or another for various reasons. And we do bump! our heads — on the inside. Having inner conflicts that linger typically means we just haven’t done anything new to resolve them, while our approach likely lacks any real conviction.

Without knowing exactly how these walls work, you can still find comfort in understanding that “at least” it’s your own mind doing this and you CAN break mental patterns and gain control of your behaviour. Alert! When your mind puts up a wall, you will become isolated from opportunities to grow and self improve while being deprived of new and useful information. Its confining affects are felt, for example, when you come across a new idea on how to solve a problem and you then end up unconsciously rejecting the “possible” solution. You do not get a chance to understand the merits of taking new action. Things just stay the same… Life remains one big long day full of repetitious re-runs of the past. Ugh!

In Free Mind Free Body, I discuss in detail the makings of our mental walls and how to stay out of that prison of our own design. The immediate benefits of avoiding self-imprisonment include increased happiness and success with a lot more opportunities for personal growth. Breaking down our mental walls is a process — not a mystery.

You can ask yourself:

1. What do I know about this problem?
2. What have I done to solve this conflict?
3. Have I taken any new approaches to overcome this obstacle?

Okay, here is how you breakdown that mental wall to relieve your stress. Ready…? Now, begin by saying to yourself with absolute conviction, “I can do anything!” And fully commit to being open to new ideas and new approaches from now on, regardless of where or from whom you learn about these pearls of wisdom, and remember to keep all limiting thoughts away … Right?! It is not that easy… true. However, what if limiting or negative thoughts have just become an unconscious pattern or a habit, and perhaps for you positive thoughts don’t always come that easily?

Now realize that you can break down your own mental walls! It can be done. It is often accomplished. Many people have overcome limiting thoughts and negative habits by using the powers of their own mind. And, reading Free Mind Free Body will automatically break down those walls for you and open your mind to allow you to achieve more than ever before!

I understand how difficult it is to free the mind. And, learning how your mind works based on sound principles and concepts is no easy task. Many people have found new freedom for themselves with my book and have realized increased success in their personal and professional lives. Though, it is you who will have to break down your own walls from time to time. The first step is awareness. The next step is up to you!

It’s been a while… I know, but I’m here now and will be regularly interacting with you and discussing my book Free Mind Free Body. If you have read it, great! I would love to hear from you. If you have not — then go get it ASAP! — Okay… Let me begin to show you a bit of what you’re missing.

How much do you know about your self? What is your self-image like? Who, exactly, are you? If you have never asked these questions before, they may seem strange and even if you have, finding the answers can be quite challenging! Though, attempting to understand one’s self is a positive step for increasing self-confidence and cultivating a more determined character.

This book equips you with effective tools to explore your mind with a map that guides you in obtaining self-knowledge and introduces you to your conscious and unconscious mind – in a way you CAN easily understand. Then you will be more capable of harnessing the mysterious and absolutely amazing powers within — for increased success and happiness!

You are capable of achieving things you have not yet dreamed of accomplishing. It only takes a minimum understanding of the right key points on how YOUR mind works coupled with enough belief in your self to take new action. You might have heard of people who have achieved seemingly impossible things while you wonder how they did it… What “seems” to be impossible for you, may not necessarily be so to another. Challenge yourself and explore what is truly possible for your goals.

Those successful people achieved the impossible, or what you may think is impossible for you, because to them I’m sure it didn’t seem impossible at all. They thought of their goals as merely obtainable, and then took action until achievement; they didn’t give up, and likely worked hard! The main difference between you and them may only be the way you looked at those “impossible” things. Reading Free Mind Free Body is the “fast-track” for seeing things differently.
